How long does it take for the dosing of alklinity in an aquarium to show up on the test results? Is it instant like specific gravity? Link to comment

( as already stated ) I usually wait about 2- 3hours before I test for alkalinity after dosing and a good 4 hours or longer before I test calcium after dosing. Then again I have large tanks so.. meh... Link to comment
