I am running the Rio Hyperflow 6HF 350gph and starting to think that it isn't strong enough to drive this chiller. What do you recommend I go with? Thanks! Link to comment

Because the tank is not cooling (I know it's not the chiller because I've tried 2 brand new chillers). My pump is only 350gph, over 2 years old, and also has about 2ft of head loss. I'm thinking of the Rio 8HF 550gph... Link to comment
holdorf333 Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 Current USA: The required flow through the chiller is between 420 gph and 720 gph. So no, at 2', you are pushing maybe 300gph.
