10 gallon w/ 5.5 gallon inside

OK. I have an idea and would like to see what y'all think.

Instead of using acrylic for baffles in a sump/fuge, would putting a 5.5 gallon AGA inside of a 10 gallon AGA be sufficient? Put the DSB in the 5.5 and voila? Maybe? Or a 10 gallon inside a 20H. That way there is more room above the fuge portion.

Here are the dimensions of the sizes of AGA tanks that I think could work together:

2.5 Gallon - 12x6x8

5.5 Gallon - 16x8x10

10 Gallon - 20x10x12

15 Gallon - 24x12x12

15 High - 20x10x18

20 High - 24x12x16

So...what do you think?

Thanks,

Adam
