viejito55
I was wondering how long the clown can go without eating, and how often it should be fed. I feed him early in the morning and twice in the evening, very small portions though. If I go away for the weekend can it handle not eating for 2 days? Link to comment
seabass
I bought an automatic fish feeder to feed mine over the weekend. Feeding 2 to 3 times a day is pretty good. OT – If you don't have one, you might look into some sort of top off system too. Link to comment
Physh1
Yes, he can go two days w/o food. I'd just make sure he's well fed the few days before you leave. Mine go the weekend w/o food pretty often since I'm always out of town on weekends. Cameron Link to comment
seabass
I could go without food on weekends without dying, but I wouldn’t like it much.:| In the wild, clownfish are usually able to feed throughout the day. ??? I like to think that my feeder reduces stress and help keeps my clownfish happier. Link to comment
tau626
I feed mine every other day. I don't feed mines over the weekend since I'm hardly home. I do see mines eat those little pods on the window. Link to comment
