nannodad
Long story short my Ph is down to the low 7's. For the last 4 months it has been over 8 usually 8.2 and stable. What would make it drop? I tested just a few minutes ago, the lights have been on all day so I would assume it would be up, correct? Which means it will drop lower tonight when the lights go off. What would make it drop. Didi a water change earlier today with the same water I have been using since I started the tank. All other numbers are good. Link to comment
Sctn4Elk
Have you checked your water that you use to do WC's? Decaying matter can lower PH by making the water more acidic, but you should see Amm or trite/trate spikes?? Out of balance Mg or Alk could be an issue?? Suggest more water changes, 20% a day until appropriate levels are reached...that is if you WC water params are perfect.... Link to comment
