six-liner Posted August 28, 2003 Share Posted August 28, 2003 chalk bass will school if you get enough of them, and they get 3 inches a little change. anthias are aslo great schoolers, but they can be difficult to keep in a smaller size tank. chromis are everyones favorite schooler, but they can reach 5 inches! if they dont have room to grow, they will probably kick off one at a time. sixLiner Link to comment

CalciumOverdose Posted August 31, 2003 Share Posted August 31, 2003 pandaka pygmea, one of the smallest schooling fish that i know of. they are in the pygmy goby family, but it is the smallest fish. an adult will be double if not a size of an ant.. about 1.2cm actually, to set the record, the smallest vertebrate on earth But they do school.. and can be found in the reefs of the philippines and the great barrier.
