keyblur55 Posted July 3, 2002 Share Posted July 3, 2002 the other day while looking for something to make a new hood for my 5.5 gallon nano i ran across mud pans at home depot, the 14 inch one fit perfectly, i picked up a plastic one because it was easier to work with but they had shiny stainless steel ones there too, it fit my 2x13's and small cpu cooling fan perfectly. Im not sure if the angles are that great for reflecting light but they are ok. I lined the inside with tin foil. Link to comment

Guy Posted July 5, 2002 Share Posted July 5, 2002 That was an excellent idea. I never thought of using one of the plastic pans. I was buying used Strip lights and gutting them. This is definately cheaper, plus they are thicker plastic and easier to drill. Guy Link to comment
