tdsounds
My 10 gal is attacked by bubbles. It is everywhere on the live rock the glass walls, powerheads, and on the surface of the water. My gsp lately hasn't been fully opening with the long tentacles. It opens wide eye but with shriveled up tentacles. What gives? I tested my water parameters and it seem fine but my ph hasn't been stable lately fluctuates by 8.2-8.4 10gal 201 hagen ph 12lbs live rock 2 false perculas 2inch playsand 6 astrea snails 6 blue hermits 2 red hermits 50 watt hagen heater 2x40watt csl/moonlight Link to comment
shadofax69
I would say you need to check your alkalinity. If your alkalinity is off then that could be causing your pH fluxuations. Link to comment
Physh1
ph hasn't been stable lately fluctuates by 8.2-8.4That is stable! pH will naturally fluctuate from day to night as o2 levels and co2 levels change. That is totally stable. An unstable pH would be going from 7.5 - 8.3 a day. Why and where are these air bubbles coming from? That will be something that will cause some corals to close and remain that way. Cameron Link to comment
tdsounds
I dunno if this coincedence but when I added my csl 2x40 light/moonlight the bubbles all started. I even have bubbles come from the sand to the top of my water. I do notice that I see the top of the water looks kinda milky. Now my gsp has 5 extensions that totally turned white. Link to comment
