Everyone-

I am in desperate need of help. I have a had my 12 gal. flat-back hex nano for about a month and whenever i look at it, I feel like I'm running out of room to build up my reef. Sure i have some coral, but the reef it self only reaches about halfway up the tank. What should I do: try to keep stacking corals or add more rock.

I kinda have the same problem. I have about 11 pounds or so in my 7 gallon. But it only reaches about half way up. Not as big an issue to me though.

You could try and stack it more where you have a few larger pieces on bottom spaced out and then smaller pieces to form arches and support more rock for the top.

Of course I have no idea how many pieces you have or what they look like, so it's really a shot in the dark.

Use reef rock epoxy and stack it so that you buid caves and crevases. this will build the reef higher and leave you more places to tuck away corals. ( assuming you place the rock in a waythat it leaves shelves and such)
