kickyourbrainintheface
can someone tell me what is the right kind of paint to use to paint like a black background on the inside of the tank. or should i paint the outside, or both??? or instead of paint, is a certain type of resin better?? Physh1
Paint the outside. Anything used in the tank can and very possibly will leach. Painting the outside will create a perfect looking background when you look at the tank. I've just used rattle can paint myself the few times I've done this. Cameron Link to comment
JLTRUK
I painted the back of my 50gal tank a few months back...I went to Pep Boys and bought semi-gloss car spray paint. The kind used on bumpers and such. It is called Plasti-Kote I used about 4 coats of that and your set Link to comment
caja
I used the gloss black Kryon pait on the back of my 7 minibow. Be sure to tape off all the areas except the one you are painting and use multiple light coats. Link to comment
