Blownpony
I seen a little thing in my tank other day at first I thought it was a shrimp but after looking on here I just figured it was a bug. Well last night I find a shell where he has molted. So after finding this shell the hunt was on. The only thing I could find where two antenna moving around from under a rock. The molt was clear with no color. How can I find out what kind of shrimp it is? Since the molt is clear is that the color of the shrimp or will he get color as he gets older. Link to comment
TiGs
Try checking out your tank after the lights have been off of an hour, you might catch a peek of the shrimp in question. What is the size of the molt? Also a picture would help a lot. Link to comment
Blownpony
The molt is about 1/4" long, its pretty small. Just luck I even seen it. Once I turned the lights out, still had moonlite on, thats when I seen him or some of him. His antennas where a little over an inch long. Never could see him just the antennas. Just don't want it to be a mantis or something else bad. Maybe he will come out once his new shell has gotten hard? Link to comment
