hammernb
WOW Nobody uses heaters ??? I've been using a pre-set Tetra heater (Tetra Whisper 2-15) in my picotope for a few months, and it works great. It's set for 78, and when I test it, it's always at 77.5. I got it at walmart for about $12. Hope that helps. Link to comment

diverrk
I guess the only major thing I'm concerned with is using a glass Heater. My friends larger reef tank got cooked when the glass broke and the heater did not shut off ! Link to comment
