What grade of Live Sand is good?

I just purchased online for most of the equipments for my soon-to-be-setup nano reef, but still doing research on LR and LS, I just not make decision to buy online from liverocks.com or other online store, OR I just buy a 20lbs bag from LFS, my concern is what grade of live sand is good for nano reef for those bagged sand?

 

For the LR, I just find one LFS in NY that sell LR, but not visit there yet, so the quality is still a question, I may just order it online. Any suggestion which online site I can purchase LR, I checked liverocks.com, drmaccoral.com, and some other, any reliable site you can recommend?

Just buy whatever sand looks best (or cost less) to you.

It doesn't make any difference (for live sand in a bag), except larger grained sand will trap detritus and other things. I personally like small tiny grained sand that is white.

 

For Live Rock I like, http://www.premiumaquatics.com/ for there Branched Fiji, and Marshal Island, and for normal Fiji rock I like http://www.harboraquatics.com/

I really live the sand from www.gulf-view.com and the rock is awesome too. The sand is very live and full of critters. It also has some shells and coral chunks in it...otherwise it's a pretty fine #1 sand. I've ordered from there 4-5 times and have been more than happy each time.
