Clam stress?

Ok so i got a new clam.. and wondering what are there stress signs..

 

Now the clam came from a 75 gallon tank running 1 400 watt halide 6,500k he was sitting in the sand bed, 20 inches down.. Now i have him in my 30 gallon, its 22 inches deep, he is sitting about 4 inches down from the water line.. and the halide is 4 inches above the water line, its a 175 watt halide 10k..

 

now his Mantel is not extended as much as it was in the other tank but it is out.. and his intake hole is larger than it was in his tank but again its only been in this tank now for about 40 hours.
