I think FOWLR stands for "fish only WATER Live Rock?" BTW, I've done numerous amounts of searches, and wow.. I'm still searching in the searches!!!! GRR!! Link to comment

littlec Posted August 21, 2003 Share Posted August 21, 2003 My favorite acronym along the path to "reef" was FOWLR(asc). Fish Only With Live Rock (and some coral). I think I read it on Reef Central. This represents the phase that many go through when they are afraid that keeping REAL corals is too much of a challenge so they throw in some zoanthids or mushrooms to test the water. Link to comment
