Should I get a small internal filter?

I have aBC29 and my biggest issue is I have lots of fine stuff floating around the tank. I have both chemipure and purgien in the back, and a filter pad. I also have the BC skimmer. I was thinking of maybe using the Fluval or Cascade internal filter once in a while just to help polish the water, would it be a good idea or does anyone have any other ideas??

I've had Chemipure Elite for a few weeks and just changed it around so it gets more flow through it and since then it's been leeching out a brownish cloud. Since adding it my Frogspawn & Hammer coral have been closed up quite a bit. I added more filter floss and a bag of carbon, if that doesn't work I'm trashing it.
