Gerard the fish
They work great, they wont have any addverse affect on your fish or corals. That being said your tank always needs a "lights out phase". thanks - g Link to comment
surfy
I have one and I like it, but I would just go to Auto Zone and get a LED light. They are in the lighting mod's section called Cruiz'n lights, they are external auto lights so they should be water proof. $6.00 sure beats $30.00 They have white, Blue and other colors. I got the blue and it floreces some of my corals. They come two in a pack, so you can hook up both or save one for another tank. I am runing one using a 9v power supply you can use 12v also. I'm not sure if they will light using a lower voltage. They are Just as bright as the CSL moonlight. Link to comment
