Using tiny ZooMed 104 PH on 12" AquaFuge

Is the ZooMed 104 (http://www.zoomed.com/html/aquatic_pumps.html) a good choice to run the 12" AquaFuge? It is is about the same size or smaller as the current tiny PH favorite--the AquaGlobe 200. But, it has a simpler shape, so is less visually obtrusive to me.

I wanted to see if it was powerful enough to run the fuge. So I set up an experiment to see how fast it could fill a gallon container with the pump at full steam. Basically, let it fill the fuge and then time from the point the first drop falls from the outtake into a measured container.

It clocked at 75 gph. I figure that's good enough to drive it. I don't know how long the little sucker will last, but he got the job for now.

The 104 is adjustable, but I forgot this fact when I was testing so I can't say if 75 gph is min or max. Odds are it is the max.

Just sharing my weird science in appreciation of all the other weird science I've read here:P
