diverrk
Does anyone think that 5 sexy shrimp can add too much bio-load to a 3 gal pico ? Link to comment
shrimphombre
really depends on how large they are and how much waste they produce. I dont see any harm in trying it but just keep your eye on your test levels, particularly nitrate.... Link to comment
diverrk
I do 25% change per week to keep the nitrate down. Right now I have a yello clown goby and 5 small sexies. Got the sexies cheap so I couln't resist. I added a Pom Pom crab today so I was just wondering about the sexies, cause I'd give up a couple of them to make room for the Pom Pom if necessary Link to comment
shrimphombre
woa you have 5 shrimp AND a fish? AND a crab? I thought you were just talking about the shrimp.... i would just pick one or the other Link to comment
diverrk
Yeah i was thinking off ditching a couiple of the big sexies. It's a 3gal but I have a AC20 and a small canister filter as well, probably adding another gal to that. If I can catch the little buggers without tearing it apart. Link to comment
