Monkeyman
What wattage over what tank? What are you planning on keeping? Do you have a good reflector? Information is good. MikeB) Link to comment
dreamweaver_gcotb
Oops, sorry! I should have remembered to tell that part. Ok, I have a 10 gallon with 2 36 watt PCs. 1-10,000K daylight and 1-03 Actinic. Right now I only have LR, a brain coral that came on the rock, a mushroom and some filter feeders but tons of coralline. I plan to keep more of the light lovers as the system matures although I'm not sure if I can keep some of the really high light lovers with the lights I have. The reflector is what came with the light kit I bought from A H Supply. Link to comment

dreamweaver_gcotb
Anyone? The LFS said 6-8 hours. That seems REALLY low to me. Link to comment
dwolls
well I have 60 w of regular fluorescents and I leave them on at least 12 hours a day. So far (3 years) everything has done ok but I am fixing to upgrade to PC's, because I'm going to keep more corals. Link to comment
NanoBound
I also run mine for 12 hrs. Link to comment
