serjuanca88
I realized that I could set up a 175w MH for about the same price as a 70w MH or 64w PC. Would 175w be overkill? Would it limit me to high light corals only? Heat is not an issue, I have some 4 inch fans I can used if needed. I would like to have a clam, but have no interest in SPS. Could I still keep soft corals with the 175w setup? thanks for helping a newbee Link to comment
LiQuiD
175 is fine. No intrest in SPS YET that is. Link to comment

ralegen
What model and where did you guys purchase you MH? 175W sounds good for my 20 gallon too. But I'm curious on what it looks like alone. Wouldn't it need some actinic help? Link to comment
