Today I'm going to do a water change and I picked up some snails that are really going to town on the algae. In a short time, the turbos have really cleaned a great deal of the rock. I have a bunch of little crabs that are eating the algae too but they don't do near as well with it as the snails do. I also have some other snails that hide in the sand all day and come out and eat the algae on the glass in the evening and at night. Link to comment
