Von digity Posted August 17, 2003 Share Posted August 17, 2003 I just finished installing new lights on my tank but, do you guys think that 2 55 watt pcs is enough for a 18g, or should I add one more 55 watt to the mix? Right now all I've got is 15 lb LR, a feather duster, some macro algae and a dying toadstool, but I would like to keep alot more soft corals in the near future. Think I shoulda just gone with a 200 watt mh system instead? thanks Link to comment
Physh1 Posted August 17, 2003 Share Posted August 17, 2003 For softcorals what you have is sufficient. You can add more light if you want to but you may have some heat increase. More light would also allow you to possibly keep SPS corals. For what it sounds you want to keep your fine. Cameron Link to comment
