I've had the system running for about 2 weeks now and the ammonia levels and nitrate levels are still the same as when i tested 3 days after i started the tank. The levels all read 0. I did a 60% water change with ro water to dilute the tap water that I used to start the system with. Here is my equipement. 8 lbs of Marshall Island from my old nano that was running for 2 months. 3 lbs of fiji from a established 220 gallon reef tank. 13 lbs of Marshall Island not cured and then 1 lb of Florida Aquacultured that was cured. Running a 10 gallon sump with a pump rating of 320 gallons an hour where its currently located. Also running a penguin 125 for the carbon. I added 3 snails yesterday and the hermit that was been there since day 1. So, wheres my cycle? I figured with the 13 lbs of non-cured rock would have started this system.
