seabass
Hardiest in a 70-gallon tank or a 7-gallon tank? Because this is Nano-Reef.com, I vote for the Ocellaris Clown, since it does well by itself in our smaller nanos. Link to comment
jrlim
I like Clarki's... they're cool looking... swims around pretty cool too =P Link to comment
peppermint22
seabass: -> Hardiest in a 30G aquarium. I can't decide which to get. I agree that maroons are pretty, but they grow very big too! Link to comment
seabass
In a 30-gallon tank, there shouldn’t be a significant difference in how hardy a single clownfish would be. There will be a difference in how territorial they become (even to you); and since they grow to different sizes, their impact to your tank’s bio-load will also differ. A 30-gallon tank would be good for a single Maroon - a mated pair of tank raised Maroons should also be fine. A 30-gallon tank would also make a nice home for a mated pair of Black Percs or False Percs. Hope that helps. Link to comment
katydidit
I second seabass's opinion on the mated pair of black percs. Link to comment
peppermint22
Would I be pushing the limit if I kept 5 juveniles in a 30G aquarium? Link to comment
