Exhaust spout size on Remora?

I'm thinking of getting a Remora skimmer, but since my 29H is in a very limited space I need to route the intake and exhaust ports to either side of a light fixture. Does anyone know...

 

1) How wide is the exhaust spout?

2) Could I put two PVC elbows on the intake tube to route it to the right?

3) How much does the intake tube stick out over the tank?

 

I'm thinking of front right side of the tank, with the exhaust spout smack against the front wall, then the flourescent hood, then the intake tube towards the rear of the tank. I'm figuring some cutting into the light hood to fit the PVC elbows.

 

Everyone has said great things about the Remora.
