Filter just broke... Can I..........

....... damn canister on my 10g took a poop. I am without a filter right now... What should I do until I get a new filter? I got a Corallife SS 65 and Seaclone 100 skimmers, suggest throwing one on to keep my water cleaner? its a 10 gallon so Im not to sure if it would overkill my tank or anything.

Ok cool.. I have a MJ1200 in there already..... was concerned about the extra waste that might be around due to the filter being broken...

 

Would the MJ plus the Corallife be a good idea? Too much flow for the 10g?

 

Or just stick with the powerhead for now, and wait till I get my check them build a AC fuge or something of that nature?

Live rock and filter floss.

If you only had live rock and filter floss, then not having the filter will not have a huge impact, IMO. If you were running any chemical filtration, that would be a different story. Just throw the live rock in the tank and the powerhead should be enough to hold you over.
