I can either get 2 x 10000k and 1 x Actinic 55 watt PC bulbs.... Or I can get 3 50/50 55 watt PC's.... What would be a better choice? Obviously the 2 x 10000k bulbs will be brighter, but I'm still not sure of what would be a better way to go... or what the impact would be on my stocking choices... Any suggestions? Link to comment
Joe Posted September 3, 2003 Share Posted September 3, 2003 no question whatsoever. Go with the 2 10K lights with the actinic supplement. You can do dusk dawn with this setup and it will look awesome. You can do higher light corals with the 2 10Ks and actinic and the 50/50s are good if your only gonna run one bulb but if your running more there is no comparison. Good luck Link to comment
