semigodd154 Posted August 13, 2003 Share Posted August 13, 2003 well i figure i've been lurking long enough and i guess i can go ahead and show my tank its supposed to be 15 gallons but comes closer to 20so here is the rundown its not done yet but its on the way. Tank 13 x 13 x 26 aga designer series 15g tank about 30lbs Lr 15lbs tahtian black moon sand Lighting is diy 2 65 watt LOA and 2 9 watt pc actinics 20 gallon rubbermaid sump with 20lbs lr and a 6inch bsb nautilus te skimmer with a rio 2100 pump amiracle internal hob overflow box return pump is a rio 2500 hooked to a pvc spraybar Livestock one yellow tail blue damsel (daughters) one CBS (sons) several snails and hermit crabs Corals mostly shrooms and polyps some ricordias a leather coral and a bubble coral this tank is still not complete yet so any suggestions for live stock would be greatly appreciated Link to comment

I have a 7 gal cube that I put on top of the stand sold for these AGA tanks. I had to install a top (they're open for the 15 gal to sit on) and put in a shelf, since there is no door. semigodd154 Posted August 13, 2003 Author Share Posted August 13, 2003 the canopy is actually coated with an acrylic filler and allowed to dry but i liked the roughed up look so i didnt sand it when it was finished then i painted it gloss black and put on 3 coats of clear lacquer (sp?)
