moorediddy
Ok everyone, So today I got my Aquafuge 18" and set it up. I wanted to see what would happen if the power goes out, so I unplugged the powerhead on the intake and a ton of water back siphoned from the intake. Is there anyway I can fix this? i.e. poking a hole in the intake line? I dunno if I like the idea of half of my fuge water backsiphoning into the main tank. -moore Link to comment

moorediddy
Awesome southpaw... thanks. I tried searching around for aquafuge and siphon issues, but didn't find that thread, thanks. I guess I was right on with drilling a small hole right below the water line.... learned that one in my research for sump design.. =] -moore Link to comment

Gerard the fish
In the future I recommend getting another overflow... Anything overflow that requires a pump is just bad enginnering. Ask yourself if you really wanna rely on a product you have to motify after the fact? Here is one of highest rated overflows around and its 1/2 the price. http://oceanencounter.com/Merchant2/mercha...ategory_Code=OF thanks - g Link to comment
