XingTheChannel
Hya, guys! Do you think I need a skimmer for my 15G? Or can it do without it? Just that I haven't got the money or it right now. Link to comment
seabass
You can certainly go without a skimmer; in fact some recommend that you do. However, skimmers provide benefits, so I can understand your wanting to use one. If money is an issue, consider a small Lee Skimmer for your 15-gallon (they are less than $20). Link to comment
Physh1
IMO it's really a personal preferance deal. If you are a reef newbie I'd suggest running one since it tends to help out a lot until you can get a solid feel for how tank chemistry and tank signs go. I've never run one and find tanks easier to keep w/o them but like I said it's personal really. You may also wanna run a search for skimmers as this topic has been covered a ton. XingTheChannel
It's just cause I've got a 5G for a year now and never used one but as 15G is bigger, I thought that maybe I need one. Thanks for your help guys. Link to comment
