Cycle-starting with a dead shrimp

I have heard you can jump-start the cycling process by throwing a dead shrimp into the tank to be cycled. I have a ten gallon I am just starting to cycle and all I have on hand in the way of dead shrimp are those little frozen cubes the brine shrimp come in. How many of those do you think I should throw in to get things rolling cycle-wise?
