Does skimmer allow for more animals?

Just curious, I put a skimmer on the 20l and wonder if it would allow for more animals int he tank? I know some people for go water changes for a couple more weeks with a skimmer on there tank, so if you didnt and still performed weekly change, seems it would be feasible to allow for more critters.

It really depends on a per tank basis and what "critters" that you are refering to. I'm going to push for 4 fish in my 10g with my current setup and packing several zoos/shrooms. Always check your parameters regularly. Just acclimate your critters slowly into your tank. Be patient and let it adjust to new additions.
