Korbin Posted May 20, 2002 Share Posted May 20, 2002 Don't leather corals shed a clear sort of skin every once in awhile? I think their skin kind of peels off and floats away as part of their natural growth. Is the part that peeled off kind of clear? Link to comment

jstewart0 Posted May 31, 2002 Share Posted May 31, 2002 Did it look shiny or waxy before the stuff started coming off? If it did it is normal. If it looks like a spot where there might be an infection you should take your hand and rub on the infected part to get infection off. I had a small leather in my 50 gal. that was always peeling but after a year or so the thing was a foot in diameter. Link to comment
