MKramer
I have my xenia in a 10gal w/ 64W of 50/50 PC light. And it can't seem to get enough. It's climbed from almost the bottom of my water column to the top in the span of a month. The tank my frag came from had even stronger lighting, so it's possible mine was just accustomed to high light. But I certainly wouldn't go any less than 32W in a standard-sized 10gal. And make sure it's actinic. It won't survive long without the proper spectrum. You'll just wind up with a slimey mushy mess. Link to comment
My Alife 7
My xenias are the most hardiest things I've ever seen... In the morning when I open the blinds to my window and there's just that little bit of light shinning in, they start opening up and pulsing... But I myself have 4 watts per gallon for them. HuBu
i was told that xenia dont depend too much on lighting since they are hardy. same thing happens with my xenia, my alife. they would open and pulse whenever there is a source of light. Link to comment
