Snail came out of shell

This exact same thing just happened to me. I posted at reef central and everyone who replied had never seen it happen before. Searched the whole internet ( i swear) and just happened to find this thread. Well I do have pics, and the super tongan nass is still alive (2 days later).

lol,motionless that happen to my nassarius snail,too.

i guess nass snail are known to do this leaving the shell thing. :P

hey did your nassarius make it after he did that? Mine has been acting strange after he ditched his shell. He's moving around on the surface a lot more than he used to...

My snails stuck out of his shell like he doesn't go into it at all its a garden snail that I had picked up outside thinking it was dead tbh till it came out and started moving now it wont go in its shell
