First Time Filling Tank

So I'm preparing to fill my tank with salt the first time. Is it ok to mix the salt in the tank for the first time? It's a BC29g.

 

Or do I need to mix 5 gals at a time then dump?

If there is nothing in it then absolutely. Filler up, and dump that shiat on in there !

Pay attention to actual tank capacity versus mixing instructions though when you do cause' its a biatch

if you have to dilute it with fresh water. you'll end up with two full 5.5 gallon buckets full of salt water left over after displacing it with enough fresh to bring it down and that would be a shameful waste.
