receding life

Last week the hitchhiker coral and anemone that had come with my live rock appeared to be rebounding from the tank cycle. Now it appears that they are starting to die or looking very lackluster. I have some feather dusters that were on the rock which appear to be doing fine. Now i know that my current lighting is not sufficient for the growth of the anemone (stock eclipse 12) but i do not understand why they would have been seemingly doing well and now looking pretty bad. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

hey, the stock lighting may not be enough for the anen. plus how long has your tank been up for? if not over 6 months than the anen. will never live! your tank has to be doing really good to kepp up with the anen. you may want to get better lighting
