frommzie Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Hey guys, I have run Chemi-pure Elite in the past, but it seems to stop the skimmate production in the skimmer. So, I have switched to Purigen, which doesn't have the same effect on the skimmer. I was thinking of running either regular Chemi-pure with the Purigen or Kent Marine Carbon with the Purigen. Any suggestons? Has anyone else also had the skimmer issue with CP-Elite. Chris Link to comment
peasey Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 I actually run both Chemi-pure elite and Purigen in my 28g and I couldn't be happier. I don't have a skimmer and I don't have any problems with excess nutrients. Granted, I do weekly water changes which may be what is keeping everything in check. Link to comment
