IceTurf
A noob question, but: What would be the downsides to leaving a ph probe in an aquarium all the time? I can't offhand think of any, but that doesn't mean that there aren't. (would the ph probe 'die' or break down after a while, would it get less and less accurate, or what?) Link to comment
dtfleming
nothing, you will need to take it out and clean it and recalibrate every couple months. You need to keep the probe wet anyways. Link to comment

dtfleming
Just make sure you use ph 7 and 10 to calibrate. Link to comment
SPS20
It would be good to reiterate an earlier point: don't ever let your pH probe dry out or it will be ruined. Link to comment
