BlackSumbel Posted August 6, 2003 Share Posted August 6, 2003 Right off the top of my head, I think it's aLettered Olive , however I'd have to see a view from above/on top of the shell to be sure. I have a few of these (well, the shells) in my tank. They're sand-sifters, as far as I know. Or, at least, they'll -sleep- under the sand. You might wanna compare to this listing of Cone snails Even if it is a cone, don't worry. As long as a: you don't touch it, b: You don't have any fish equal to or smaller than it . Even if, you can always get it out of there with a pair of BBQ tongs. But, I'm pretty sure it's the lettered olive, and those are harmless. -Sumbel. Link to comment
