surfy Posted August 5, 2003 Share Posted August 5, 2003 Hi, I just picked up a Blastomussa for $30.00. A couple other fish stores were selling the same kind for $75.00 and $90.00. My question is what kind is it? Merleti or wellsi. The polyps are bright red, With bright green only on the very inside of the mouth. The polyps look like Ricordia on a rock. It's not the type with long tube's connecting to the polyps. I think the LFS had it priced wrong, Or were the other fishstores just ripping people? The other LFS's only had three to four polyps on theirs, Mine has atleast ten to thirteen:) This has to be my most favorite coral I have ever owned. Thanks for any help you can give me.
