el_dante
I have a large rock in my set-up that has these pink star things coming out of it. They are spreading really fast, so I want to know what they are before it's too late. They retract rather quickly and they appear to be bothering the button polyps that are next to them. Some of you might say they are anthelia, but I am sure that there are not. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Hope the pic comes out ok. Thanks. Link to comment
LITTLEFISHEE
My first guess would be star polyps, but there doesn't seem to be a mat. Second guess, xenia. Link to comment
bowfrontsrock
Xenia, expecially if they extend and retract significantly. Link to comment
SaltyDawg
If the fingers on the polyps are smooth looking with a solid white center it is some strian of star polyps. it is defiantely Anthelia if the fingers on the polyps look hairy with a tiny hole in the center of the "hand". Link to comment
