Green Star Polyps NEEDS HELP

hello all,

 

my green star polyps has lots of green hair algaie stuck in between all the polyps what is a good way to remove the hair algaie??

Yuck, I feel your annoyance.  I've yet to find a good way to prune algae off my GSPs.  You can try a wide-tipped tweezer, but if you leave any of the algae's stalk behind, it'l just regrow in time.  But this is what I'm currently doing, in hopes that someday the stuff will just decide it's easier to die than just keep regrowing.

get a tang and the algae will be gone in no time. If the tank is too small for a tang, algae eating hermits shoudl do the trick, just trim it back a little to help speed up the process
