Red Sea Coral Pro Salt

Im making the switch from IO to Red Sea Coral Pro becuase I have heard good things about this salt... how ever when i opened up the bucket i found a hard block of salt... I mean I could scrape it off but is this whats its supposed to look like? and how much should i mixs to make say 5 gallons? i used to do a cup and a half of IO but that was loose salt... i dont want to sit there for ever trying to mix up a batch... any one have expirence with this salt want to chime in would be great

Umm..Thats not normal. Me and my buddy both use that kind and its not in a solid block. Ours came in a bag also inside of the bucket. Yours must have had moisture or something get into it. I hope you can get a replacement cause that would be tough to mix. Good Luck

It got moisture in it somehow. Take it back for one thats not one huge chunk or a refund.
