Where to get bulbs for use in those Petco 2.5/5 gallon acrylic bowfront tanks (AGA)

Where do I purchase reef suitable bulbs for use in those Petco 2.5/5 gallon acrylic bowfront tanks (manufactured by AGA).

THe bulb that the tank system comes with is a crappy yellowish bulb.

ANyone here replaced theirs with a quality bulb that is suitable for lighting corals?

I dont think you could find a suitable replacement.

I would reccomend retrofitting a 13w 50/50 bulb. You can get a kit from either hellolights.com or ahsupply.com.

I have personally used teh ahsupply kit with good results. I cannot vouch for hellolights but have heard only good things about them.

does AGA (All GLASS AQuariums) make acrylic tanks?

I dont know. I think shaolin has a 2.5 minibow which i beleive is manafactured by marineland. Maybe Marineland is owned by AGA?
