T?@7
SLIMER. Looks similar to seaslug egg sacs, is there a seaslug? Link to comment
Jeo
No sea slugs that I know of. Its still in the tank this morning. I do have a sixline wrasse, but the blob is pretty big! I know you can't tell from the pics, but its bigger than a golf ball and appears to be solid based on how it moves. My tang tried to eat it but didn't like it. I find it hard to believe that my sixline could have made something this big overnight. Also, it appeared to activly "catch" the hermit. It extended part of its blob to the hermit and stuck on. Maybe its my imagination, but I do have a couple of other pics. I am at work right now though so I will have to post them later. Link to comment

Jeo
I posted this pic on a couple of other bbs as well and the conclusion that was reached is that blob is the cocoon from my six line wrasse. At night they make a cocoon to sleep in. the fish all ended up eating it :x Link to comment
chufa
That is indeed true! I did a search on Google, and lots of people report the same thing. Very interesting. Kind of like bettas with bubble nests! Link to comment
