killrblue Posted August 1, 2003 Share Posted August 1, 2003 No I have that light fixture but its an actuall hood, not a retro. The only problem having intense lighting is that it creates a lot of heat for the tank. Make sure that you have effective cooling for your tank. Link to comment
sheffboyrd Posted August 1, 2003 Share Posted August 1, 2003 If you're gonna go with that light I suggest going to hellolights.com and getting their aqualife 96w quad because it is a full hood with two fans, 50/50 bulb and it only costs 97 bucks. I don't know if it's still on sale but it was not more than a week ago. Link to comment
