The Unit Posted July 30, 2003 Share Posted July 30, 2003 i got the very nice red macro today-looks like grape but red...well its on a rock and i want to know if i can split the rock so i have to peices to put on on the other side of the tank....does anyone see a problem with this, will it disturb the root system within the rock to where it dies? ELGORDOINAVW Posted July 31, 2003 Share Posted July 31, 2003 are you going to place it in your sump? i would be leary of placing any macro in my tank. but you should be safe splitting it. i know some people place macro in there tank/ i just personally don't care for it. well i hope it works out, post pics. If you just want the macro on both sides of the tank you don't need to split the rock. Just cut a piece of the macro off and anchor it where you want it. Link to comment
