eleer
So I wake up this morning and my tank is all cloudy. Is this just part of the cycle and should i leave it alone. Or should I put my filter media in the hob? This is a 10g with 12lbs of lr and about 5 lbs of sand. It has been set up for about 4 days now with just the lr and sand in it for now. It has diatoms but i know thats part of cycle. Just don't know if the cloudy water is part of the cycle to. Thanks Link to comment
killrblue
If you just added the sand wait a couple more days, its still settling. Link to comment
digitallinx
maybe your power head is pointed downward in the tank and pushing up sand, if you don't have a PH, i'll say put some media to clear it up. cause 4 days should be more then enough time for the sand to settle. Link to comment
caja
I agree, run some floss in the HOB. Should clear it right up. Link to comment
eleer
Don't know how it happened? The PH isn't pointed down or anything, but i'll put the filter in. Link to comment
